There is a famous town known as Santiponce in Spain. The remains of roman city of Italica are situated in this town. There are many reasons for fame of the old city of Italica. The city gave birth to two rulers of Roman Empire which include Troian and Hadrian. There have been significant developments in Italica in the times of Hadrian. One can find mosaic work and the great layout of the city in these remains. The whole credit goes to the Spanish government because the remains of the city are preserved wonderfully.
Italica was a very large city in the times of Roman Empire and so are the remains of this city. The international festival of Italica is hosted every year in the month of July. That brings back the glory of city because travelers from all over the world become part of this festival and enjoy as if Italica is a city even today.
